FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE New Jersey -- The America First Republicans of New Jersey today responded to the disturbing debate performance of Party-Line "Republican" Curtis Bashaw by pledging to hold accountable the county chairmen who foisted him on the GOP electorate. "Curtis Bashaw attacked President Trump, endorsed unlimited abortion, and announced his plan to 'caucus' with Republicans the same way Bernie Sanders caucuses with the Democrats," said Mike Crispi, Co-Chairman of the America First Republicans. "Bashaw never deserved the GOP nomination and tonight he proved it." Crispi said Bashaw's repeated efforts to be more pro-abortion than Andy Kim were particularly offensive. "It's time for someone to draw a line in the sand," Crispi said. "No Republican should support abortion up to and including the day of delivery. It's disgusting and barbaric." Crispi also said that Bashaw's radical, pro-abortion rhetoric isn't just morally wrong, but that it threatens every other Republican on the ballot starting with the congressional candidates running just underneath him. "Tom Kean is locked in a tight race where he desperately needs pro-life, pro-Trump America First Republicans to vote the entire ticket," said Michael D. Byrne, Co-Chairman of the America First Republicans.. "But Bashaw did everything he could to sabotage Kean's chances by ensuring pro-life conservatives vote for Trump... and then stop voting." Polls show that New Jerseyans reject extreme, late-term abortion laws that legalize dismemberment abortions of children who can easily survive outside the womb. "Where are the county chairmen and congressmen who backed Bashaw in the Primary against pro-life Republicans like Christine Glassner, Justin Murphy, and Albert Harshaw?," Crispi asked. "Bashaw's nomination is the greatest scam in recent memory and the bosses who ran it will be held accountable." Crispi added Bashaw's candidacy is the best reason yet to end the party line once and for all. "Republican party bosses and supposedly pro-life congressmen refused to support President Trump's choice for Senate and instead rigged the ballot to make it appear Trump had endorsed Bashaw," Crispi said. "We're committed to ending the party line in the GOP primary starting in 2025." In the debate, Bashaw also endorsed unconstitutional gun control measures, evaded addressing election integrity, and refused to demand cop-killer Joanne Chesimard be extradited to face justice for the death of NJ Trooper Werner Foerster. "The Republican Party is a big tent party, but candidates who back barbaric late term abortion, radical gun control, and false attacks on President Trump aren't Republicans to begin with," Crispi said.

New Jersey voters, REJECT Bashaw. Write in Christine Serrano Glassner. |
